Thank you for an amazing mural wall.
I am going to feature a few artists every time I blog. My goal is to acknowlege all the fabulous talent who made this wall wonderful.
This 80' wall was built to define an area, now it defines a neighborhood! This wall no longer seperates a community it unites us. I know this sounds corny (I am a bit corny) but in reality it is true.
I never knew we had a group of nuns living in our neighborhood. We do. Their backyard overlooks the wall. And from their back deck they watched as the original geometric layout for the mural was painted in thick black lines. Sister Anne Sekul, had to find out what was going on in her neck of the woods. I loved her instantly, she was quick to smile and quick to laugh and quick to join in on the fun! She is an Iconographer and she created the beautiful angelic face shown below. Anne is the lady with dark hair laughing in the foreground of the second photo. :-} CB
