Kristina McClanahan is a reclusive sort of artist. She actually will tackle and hurt anyone who snaps her picture, sooo, sorry no pics. Many many thanks are due Kristina. She was in on the plan of the mural from the onset. When the idea of a geometric pattern was tossed out on the design table she took charge. She drew the layout to scale. It was approved and she set about painting it on the wall. Without her design the whole mural would not be what it is today. She worked with the artists on slight modifications to their spaces without getting too attached to her original concept. Beyond being the "Goddess of the geometric design" she is a best selling artist for Blue Wing Gallery (www.http://bluewinggallery.com). You can see her past show at the above link, it is entitled "On Paper I Think I Could Love You" 2008. She is scheduled for another show this coming February 2009. The "Mug Shot Series" she is creating for the wall is still in progress, stop by and check it out.
